Impact Brand Management
Cloudaria Case study

Project overview and approach we have taken

How Impact Brand Management Boosted Cloudaria Twitter Engagement

There is usually a misconception among businesses that a presence on social media platforms like Twitter is all it takes to win the social media battle for visibility. However, this isn’t quite the truth.

In order to dominate the social media world, you need to take branding and presence just as seriously as you do for all your other marketing efforts.

In this regard, Impact Brand Management recently worked with Cloudaria, a retail store that specializes in selling labeled clothing.

We helped Cloudaria create an effective Twitter profile that allowed them to attract new followers and also, engage with existing customers.

Through our cleverly crafted social media strategies we were able to help them get closer to reaching their advertising goals.

Social Media Branding

Social media pages aren’t free from marketing rules. A brand needs to be consistent across all marketing platforms including Twitter. Keeping that rule in mind, we created customized images for Cloudaria to be used for their header and also, their background. It is always much more effective to use custom images that represent the brand accurately, as it creates consistency.

By signing the client up for our Twitter Business Graphics Design package, we were able to help them create data driven graphics, which they would then present to their stakeholders via their Twitter profile.

We also worked on their background page to do what it was meant to do – highlight their brand. This included optimizing designs to suit Twitter’s restrictions. Our design experts managed to create an attractive background image that was in line with the store’s image in the real world.

By adding a conversion focused “Call to Action” we were able to quickly boost user engagement, landing more clicks to the website, and converting more sales at the bottom line.

For the header, we chose an image that had muted colors. There was a strategic reason for this choice. On Twitter, header images host profile information. So, dark or muted colors allow the information to stand out. On the other hand, bright colors can distract and hide the information we want the user to focus on.

Social Media Integration

Apart from design, we also integrated Cloudaria Twitter profile with their website.

This simply involved incorporating a Twitter button onto Cloudaria website, while also adding the website’s link onto their Twitter page.

The Results

These simple changes delivered tremendous results. In the first week, Cloudaria experienced a 10% increase in followers and a near 25% boost in engagement.

More importantly, their bottom line is now steadily increasing, as customers are able to visit the site, straight from the Twitter page, to make purchases. This especially had an impact on one of their newer products, which was highlighted through their newly updated Twitter profile.
